Vol 2 part 1 in the original German ed is here on Polona (color jpgs)

While many earlier schools such as Hohmann, Ries (1840s), David (1863), and Hermann (1879) start with the C major scale, this one starts with G D and A major, using the same finger spacing on all four strings. This is explained in the preface. Joachim'(1905) and Eberhardt (1906) also take this approach.
