Ludolf Nielsen spent his holidays in a small house in Nymindegab on the Danish Westcoast. This nocturne is a impression on a summer evening there.

Recorded on a 1996 cpo CD.

Premiere (or an early performance) may have been mentioned @ Dansk musiktidsskrift - Volume 10 - Page 63 (ca.1935?)
