A notice in the Athenaeum in a October 1913 issue (p.354) notes that "on the 19th inst." Børresen's sextet, a relatively new work to English audiences, will be performed in a concert with Sinding's piano quintet.
(Does anyone have any information on the world premiere? As to dedication a volume of Grieg's letters ("Letters to Colleagues and Friends") contains a letter dated Christiania, November 16, 1903, Hotel Westminster beginning "Dear Mr. Borresen! Thank you so much for your sextet! ' When I received it I was sick...")
