Talk:Joseph Bologne Saint-George 10 Harpsichord Sonatas

They've never been published, and apparently BNF holds the manuscript which is reported to be sketches. There is also a recording by Ann Roberts. The excerpts I have heard are absolutely delightful. Saint-George's works were suppressed when Napoleon Bonaparte reinstated slavery (1802) and accomplishments by individuals such as Saint-Georges were inconvenient evidence of the capabilities of people of color. Isn't it about time we do whatever we can to make this composer's works available to the public?
