- It is likely that the sketch originally went all the way to the beginning, and it's just that most of it has been lost. Father Reinhard van Hoorickx has produced a completion that is one of the most achingly beautiful and successful imitations of Schubert's style I have ever heard: it is performed by Ian Bostridge in the Hyperion Schubert completion.
