That's where I found the information. Still, in either case it's alas only ca. 1895. Prowling Google books or somesuch (goodness forbid I should trek to a library) for something more definitive like a concert review of a contemporary performance (my personal favorite, when - rarely - available) for narrowing in on such dates. For the composers on whom there aren't graduate students and scholars hiking out to study the original manuscripts to compile a worklist-book, that is. Etc. ;) (A thankless task.
