This template formats and displays a superscript numerals in a small size that fits conveniently into the leading space of fields in the "General Information" and other places where needed. Use is extremely simple and covers numerals 1-100 so far. Inserting a numeral in the template - as in RISM 1624{{Sup|9}} renders the result RISM 1624⁹, which is less likely to result in odd expansion of field depth that using RISM 16249 can appear on tablets and similar devices with smaller screens.
