  • Recorded on BIS (trombone version), available on YouTube: Trombone Concerto, Op.48(46)
  • Composition date from the BIS booklet notes, 1886 also found on the manuscript scores. A 1905 performance of the horn version (Musikforening orchestra with a soloist Jean Fransen, in Kristiania) is also mentioned in the BIS notes. The concerto is marked Op.48(46) by BIS, but all the present manuscripts bear Op.48.
  • In the list of parts presented in #536288, there are 2 solo parts for horn. No mention of the trombone version anywhere except the trombone part (#536293), it is inscribed: Koncert for tenorbasun og orkester. All other scores are for waldhorn og orkester.
  • As some manuscripts are claimed to be gammelt arrangement (old arrangement), there must be at least two versions of the work. Probably that of 1886 and a new one, e.g. for the 1905 performance.
