Licenses

Hi Cs, and thanks for the upload! In the future, please put your typesets under a Creative Commons license (preferably but not necessarily non-commercial) instead of listing them under 'Public Domain' (which they are not). Thanks, KGill talk email 17:08, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Okay, I'll be sure to do that, thanks for the heads up! Cs 17:10, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Oh, question — I put "Public Domain" at the bottom of the PDF (which I transcribed and typeset) - should I replace it with a CC license? Cs 17:12, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
You could, but it's not absolutely necessary. As long as the license is listed on the page as CC, that should be enough. There are actually a lot of typesetters (e.g. at Mutopia) who give 'Public Domain' as their license, but we usually use Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 here (as the nearest equivalent). You can change the page to that if you wish. Cheers, KGill talk email 17:24, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Okay, I'll just leave it as public domain on the file then. Thanks! Cs 17:37, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
