User talk:Dsaphra

Hi David. Thanks for the message. I don't have any experience of uploading tablature to the site, but it sounds a good idea. I have seen a few examples already. For instance, I'm pretty sure the lute part of the Dowland Lachrimae is available. I presume the tablature can just be scanned into a pdf document like any other facsimile. I suppose it would be useful to use the "categories" system so that it is all tagged as tablature. Anyway, good luck with it! StephenWest 18:08, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't see the message you left for me on 8 November. You put the message on my user page rather than the talk page, which means that the system doesn't give an automated notification that a message has arrived. I haven't looked at my user page since! You mention the Byrd two-part music in the John Merro collection, in the Bodleian Library. That sounds really interesting, but presumably it is only available to people with access to the Bodleian. I'm afraid my reader's card for the Bod expired over 30 years ago! StephenWest 11:33, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
