Internationalization

Hello Jujimufu, I made some changes to the Internationalization page, and there will probably be more changes in the near future. As is now pointed out, all translations should be done from the English only (the reasons are explained on the page). In particular, translators will have to understand English. Therefore I have deleted your translation of the Internationalization page itself. I'm sorry to erase your work, but I believe that keeping the translation updated would be a waste of time, as every translator should be able to use the English page. Thanks and greetings, --Leonard Vertighel 12:42, 22 January 2009 (EST)

If you absolutely want the translation back, I'll restore it. However, I don't think it's a good idea. Your last edit to the translation was on 4 July 2008. Since then, most of the page has changed. Updating the translation would be a lot of work. There will be more changes in the near future due to changes in the underlying wiki software, so keeping the translation up-to-date would be even more work. My personal opinion is that it would be better to focus on keeping the important translations updated. --Leonard Vertighel 18:31, 24 January 2009 (EST)
Well, Feldmahler is around every now and then, but he seems very busy. If you asked him a while back, chances are he forgot about it. Maybe try to remind him... --Leonard Vertighel 10:39, 25 January 2009 (EST)

News translation

Hi Jujimufu, I would like to suggest you to integrate the translation of IMSLP:News into the same page, using an "iflang" construct for each news item, rather than having it on a separate page. That way, the news section would always be current, and the news would simply appear in English until somebody translates them. --Leonard Vertighel 11:11, 8 March 2009 (EDT)
