Probably also the set of variations noted, without composer's name, on p.168 of BdlF 1837.

This theme is, as noted in BNF, actually from Le philtre by Auber; the opera's title and composer are misnamed. (Note: could someone verify that the theme is not from Donizetti's opera- a rather obvious mistake one would think if we have a Donizetti fan anywhere on "staff" - and correct the Related Works line if so? - ES)

[Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but speaking as a Donizetti fan, I can confirm that this theme does in fact appear in Donizetti's "L'elisir d'amore". Perhaps it is also used in "Le philtre" (I am not familiar with that work). In "L'elisir", this tune is sung as a duet between Dulcamara and Adina towards the beginning of act II ("Io son ricco e tu sei bella"). - SNK]
