The two orchestral suites were arranged by Ernest Guiraud (1837-1892), based on Bizet's orchestration of the original operatic score. Suite No.2 comprises:

  1. Marche des Contrebandiers
    Opening chorus, Act III: "Écoutes, écoutes, compagnon!"
  2. Habanera
    Carmen's aria, Act I: "L'amour est un iseau rebelle"
  3. Nocturne
    Michela's aria, Act III: "Je dis que rien ne m'épourante"
