Does the date 1851 come from early references to an F major piano concerto? Rubinstein did compose an F major piano concerto - another one- that was performed in 1852 but was lost (Taylor guesses it was in a trunk of Rubinstein's that was confiscated - during travel?). The one performed in 1852 (which might be related to this one, though; perhaps this is an attempt at reconstructing it?) is not this one, anyhow, I think.. - Schissel (On second thought, those early concertos are from 1847, 1849 and 1850.)
