HMB has Eulenburg first (?) publishing this work in 1895, not 1911, though the latter might itself be a reprint.

  • Edition Silvertrust page here not helpful as to dates of composition and publication, but still descriptive.

Several notices of performances in 1881 music journals- I do not know whether it was performed closer to the time of composition. (Schissel)
