Misc. Comments

14 März 1827 AMZ has a review of the recently-released score of the Kalliwoda.

Autograph parts (complete?) at Karlsruhe Badische Landesbibliothek (see RISM.)

If I'm understanding AMZ Volume 26 pp.507-8 right, the symphony was given in a concert in Donaueschingen around July 1824, but an earlier performance in Mannheim does seem to be mentioned. (Or maybe a later plan to conduct it in Mannheim is mentioned; this is where it would be better if I knew more German, or practically any. - it seems this may well mean future plans, and that it's likely the work was premiered(?) in Donaueschingen?)
