Misc. Notes The reprinting by Kalmus of this symphony was originally attributed to Joseph Haydn as his Symphony No.3 (Hob.I:3), but was wrongly attributed to him. It was part of a collection of 6 symphonies which Carl Banck put together, the other 5 symphonies are indeed by Haydn. The 3rd movement of this symphony here is probably by Vanhal. Compare Hoboken, Hob I: Es2 and Hob I: Es3.
