This Symphony, which is not mentioned in Boccherini's own catalogue of his works, was used by the composer also as overture of the cantanta "La confederazione dei Sabini con Roma" (G.543) and the oratorio "Il Giuseppe riconosciuto" (G.538), both composed ca.1765.
