Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 924
I've seen many different versions of this song, and most of them had each of the mordents start with the principal note, then steps down half a step, and then returns to the principal note. My question is whether or not it should use a half step or a full step. I've been taught with whole, but I don't know if it should be a half. Also, in measure eleven to the end, should the bass octave be tied to the end, or tied for two measures and then repeated multiple times to the end. Which should it be? ---
