Talk:Bartholf Senff

Apparently this publishing company has no information (at least that I could find). Does anyone know of a reliable source where that may have information on this company? Otherwise we are left without a history, which I've found not to be a standard practice - though I suppose having a table of plate numbers is better than nothing. It was sold to N. Simrock in 1907, which resulted in Simrock having a whole new series of plate numbers. Grove probably has some info on them. I'll add history later. Carolus 03:00, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Turns out that Grove does have an entry. Thanks, Lndlewis10 03:02, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Good. Probably founded by Bartholf Wilhelm Senff (1815-1900) (of Leipzig)?... Eric 03:04, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Oy return key.

meant to type 'the Kleinmichel arrangement of Rubinstein's 4th concerto belonging to plate 1526 is from 1874, not 1865, as ascertainable from HMB.' Eric 02:02, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
