User talk:Geminibrian

Hi Geminibrian! Before uploading any more files, could you please read this page? Unfortunately, none of the files you've uploaded so far can be accessed. I can fix that, but please keep this in mind for the future :-) Thanks, KGill talk email 01:50, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for these great Smith scans. Could you refrain from adding periods to the end of page names? Thanks-- Snailey Talk to Me Email me 17:52, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Hi Brian! Thanks for uploading all the Smith scans from our site (http://www.sydneysmitharchive.org.uk/) - it's good to have them all here too! You, Bob and I worked very hard in doing these scans and it's good to have them widely posted! (Sorry about the earlier confusion - I hadn't realised that you were Geminibrian!) Frazer

Arrangements

Dear Geminibrian, Just a little heads-up. We do not create separate pages for arrangements. Therefore piano 4 hand arrangements go on the same page with the original work. Take a look at On Blooming Meadows, where you can see how it is set up. Thanks, Carolus 02:23, 2 February 2010 (UTC) (IMSLP Copyright Admin)

Superfluous uploads

Dear Geminibrian, Please pay attention to what you've already uploaded. For example, The "Souvenir de Stockholm" is part of the 3 Morceaux de Concert. We do not create separate pages for each part of a work, but keep them on the same page. Please don't create needless work for admins who have plenty to do just tagging and checking things for copyright status. Thanks, Carolus 07:27, 8 February 2010 (UTC) (IMSLP Copyright Admin)

Again, PLEASE DO NOT add pages for different versions of the same work. Thanks, Carolus 05:14, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
