Hi Janno,
thanks for your submission. However, please don't upload single pages of a work. Combine all pages to one pdf-file instead. Are you sure the work is complete? ceillier5.pdf is a part of ceillier3.pdf, so if there are altogether 7 pages one is missing. Thanks, Hobbypianist 15:47, 24 February 2009 (EST)
Dear Janno, please be careful about how you edit composer pages. You cannot randomly and in any format insert whatever you like just anywhere. I recently had to fix your editing of the Jean Cras page after you inserted what you might have thought to be recording links. Because of your editing error, the composer's page disappeared from the actual list of composers. So in the future, if you decide to edit pages, please make sure that after editing the page displays properly. Thanks for your future contributions. Hello again Janno. I'm afraid to be after you again, but this time it's for your submission of the Jean Cras excerpt from Polyphème. Although we (and I) appreciate this submission, you have several pages that are rotated by 180º which means injury for those interested in simply viewing them. In the future, please fix these yourself before submission. Our doctors thank you. Daphnis 22:09, 25 February 2009 (EST)
Hi! Thanks very much for taking care of me, I am really a beginner here! Do someone have any idea why I can't upload my scores? They are pdf,I checked the size limit, everything but it doesn't upload completely, maybe the imslp sever has problems, ... janno
Thank you for fixing those problems. I have now approved it for general download. Thanks for your contributions. Daphnis 17:38, 2 March 2009 (EST)
Hello Janno, please note that the page IMSLP:Composer Template is the manual, so please don't insert data pertaining to specific composers there. Please also refrain from adding Amazon links the way you did. Links to recordings at Amazon are added automatically on the individual work pages. Thanks. --Leonard Vertighel 07:56, 5 March 2009 (EST)
Dear Janno, We already have a page for Schubert's Moments Musicaux, D.780. Please do not add superfluous pages for individual arrangements, but add them to the main work page with the originals. Also, check to make sure the arrangement you plan to add is public domain. Thanks, Carolus 21:30, 17 July 2009 (UTC) (IMSLP Copyright Admin)
Hello Janno,
Do you have any idea who made this LilyPond typeset of the Waltz in A minor? We cannot allow unattributed typesets here, so unless you can provide permission from the typesetter or evidence the typeset has been released for distribution under a Creative Commons license, we will have to delete this. Thanks, Carolus 07:49, 5 February 2010 (UTC) (IMSLP Copyright Admin)
Hi Janno! Unfortunately, because he died in 1968, he's under copyright in most of the world, and I therefore had to delete your submission. You may want to read this page to find out what can and cannot be uploaded here. Sorry, KGill talk email 17:30, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
Couple things :)!- don't move different parts of a different opus (Melartin op87 for example) to separate pages. Go see Well-Tempered Clavier, Book 1, BWV 846-869 (Bach, Johann Sebastian) for a big example of how people contribute separate pieces of one larger piece to a page... Page name format- (example)
Adagio, Op.14 (Composerlastname, Composerfirstname) . (note where the spaces are) ... putting the comma just before the opus but with a space after the o will "kill" the page- have to undo the redirect and change it to the right one, which I think can be done...
Again, recheck IMSLP:Score submission guide/Manual of Style
Thanks much. Appreciate your filling Melartin gaps, very much enjoy his music. (Do you have his early symphonies or his string quartets? :) Edit: in score to upload *g* ) Eric 12:49, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Hello. I've noticed you submitted a Mazurka on the 2 Mazurkas page. Are you sure that is one of the two Mazurkas? I've looked at the sheet music (not in public domain) and the G major mazurka (the first one) was different than you submitted. But this is great you've discovered this Mazurka; and earlier version of Op.67 No.1. I might need to create a new page for it. --Lisztrachmaninovfan 03:48, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
Dear Janno, This was published only in 1993 and therefore cannot be uploaded to IMSLP - less than 25 years old. For urtext editions, only items issued 1985 and before are eligible. That's why we had to delete it. Thanks, Carolus 02:44, 2 October 2011 (UTC) (IMSLP Copyright Admin)
Hello Janno, thank you very much for uploading Massenet's Eau courante - that is one of a relative few of Massenet's works which I have never been able to get my hands on. Do you have access to any other of his pieces for solo piano or piano 4 hands - they are not easy to find, but there was certainly alot published! Cheers and thanks for again for your submissions! If you’re the same Jean Dubé, I have one of your Liszt CDs for Naxos. Nicely done- thank you. Eric 16:13, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
You have to omit the preface by Imogen Holst, which is under copyright worldwide. I will leave untagged until you replace the file. Thanks, Carolus 06:27, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
