--Leonard Vertighel 03:45, 21 April 2007 (EDT)

Schubert Lists

Hello Molinarius, I hope you didn't mind me contributing on the work list you started. However, since you stopped around opus 30 something, I thought I'd save you the trouble of having to type out all the remaining opus numbers. Since I've made quite a few of these lists, I have a template saved in Word so I can just copy and paste however many opus numbers are needed (in this case 172!). Feel free to go ahead and continue filling all the opus numbers in with their titles if you want, as you were off to a good start already.

Regarding your other ideas about information that would be useful to be on a Schubert list, I agree. However, I think trying to have all of it on one list would be a bit too cluttered and large. Therefore, I also created a list that has the works sorted by D. number which I'm in the process of filling out (I'm not familiar with this catalogue system, do you know if the D. catalogue is sorted chronologically? or if not on what basis the numbers were assigned). Also, if you are familiar with all the publishing info and publication dates you could go ahead and add that information as well.

Anyway, with a composer like Schubert, getting his work lists done are going to take the combined efforts of several people since he composed such a massive number of works. Hope you keep up the good work. Talk to you later.--Mcroskell 13:45, 24 June 2007 (EDT)

Nice job with this recent work!-- Snailey (_@/) Talk to Me Email me 19:51, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

I just added some information, I found in the "data bank" of the new Schubert Edition (fragments, lost works, concordances), which may explain, why these works are not to be found on imslp and in normal editions. I don't have the different editions of the Deutsch catalogue, but their corrections make new discrepancies, I'm afraid. So these lists will never be perfect. --Molinarius 20:50, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
