Thanks for this Japanese translation! Do you want to become an Translator? We could use people to translate important pages into Japanese. Some ideas:

Translation

Hi,
you erroneously changed the English version of IMSLP:Contributing scores, so I've reverted the edits. Certainly you meant IMSLP:Contributing scores/ja. Regards and thanks for the good translation work. Hobbypianist 17:23, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

I'm very sorry and thanks a lot for the swift revert。--Supertchan 23:02, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Regarding your message on Peter's talk page: It has been decided that, you have been considered for becoming an administrator, actually, which includes the privileges you desire.-- Snailey Talk to Me Email me 12:33, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Congrats! Now get to work ;)-- Snailey Talk to Me Email me 19:42, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your all kindness!--Supertchan 23:16, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

warning!

You should respect the original language. For example, on Music Publishers you destroyed original text by replacing it with japanese. By using the iflang construct, you should leave the original text exactly as it was. Always double check the original language after some translation work--Peter talk 22:40, 13 September 2009 (UTC).

A question

Several IMSLP admins have brought up the possibility of having an internationalization (translation) project leader, and you were suggested for the position by Perlnerd. The position involves making sure that all IMSLP translations are progressing smoothly, and, in cases where there is a shortage of translators (like right now), doing maintenance and publicizing work.

By maintenance I mean cleaning up translations, and perhaps most importantly, writing and updating documentation on how to translate IMSLP (the documentation is horribly outdated at the moment, as you must have realized in your own translation work; the biggest hole is the missing MediaWiki:FTE:...:Messages documentation). By publicizing I just mean that you can ask for translators via either the News section of the main page (e.g. by announcing new documentation or something similar), or, at your discretion, in MediaWiki:Sitenotice. Basically, the idea is to do whatever possible to improve IMSLP translations (but not harming other parts of IMSLP obviously).

When other translators are working you may also need to have discussions with them (via their talk page) if necessary for the smooth progression of translations (e.g. to help them or correct some technical or stylistic mistake). Of course, these discussions would probably be in English.

Would you be interested in such a position? I and the rest of the IMSLP team would be very happy if you are willing. --Feldmahler 16:06, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
