| Extra Information | I used to teach bass guitar, and I found it useful to have a selection of various etudes on hand for those students who wished to learn more about how to read music as well as play the bass. Since I don't teach anymore, perhaps others might find this collection of some value. Since they are all based on playing in position, ultimately I thought it was better for the student to discover the best fingering on their own, so there's almost no fingerings aside from the first piece. These etudes can also be effectively used for "practice duets" with a drummer. |
