Inspired by the natural world both vast and minute, the first movement, Thicket, was premiered at the Aspen Music Festival in 2005. The entire work featuring the additional movements, Coastline and String Theory, was premiered by the Fifth House Ensemble in October 2008 and recorded for Zebrina Records.
