  • The four melodies were composed on request by Harald Balslev, headmaster of Ubberup High School (Ubberup Højskole), who wished to include them in the school's yearbook of 1922; however, only one of them (CNW 261) appeared in the yearbook. All of them were published in the second edition of Folkehøjskolens Melodibog and again in 1925 in a separate volume entitled Fire folkelige Melodier.
