Misc. Notes From the Coutan archives. Paul Coutan studied this edition under Paul Bazelaire's tutelage, but only the penultimate sonata. Accordingly it has been scanned also in color for the markings to stand out. Introductory notes (French only) by Henry Expert who indicates that the editors received communication of the 1740 edition through the hands of Henry Prunières.
