Diletto musicale, No.101 Vienna: Ludwig Doblinger, 1962. Plate D. 10.268.URTEXT EDITION This "urtext" or "scholarly" (scientific) edition is in the public domain because it was published at least 25 years ago for most of the EU (20 years ago in Italy, 30 years ago in Poland) over 25 years ago for the former USSR. Such editions are also public domain in Canada because they fail to meet the minimum 'threshold of originality' to qualify for copyright as an 'adaptation'. They may not be public domain elsewhere. collection containing early 19th-century copies, possibly made for Picquot- see below, from manuscripts, as these works seem not to have been published? - "inédits" - and now held at Harvard College Library, Harvard University, including parts for all the Op.60 quintets, and other works

Navigation etc.
The editor of these three works specifies in his (removed) Preface that Boccherini's op.60 no.1 was copied by L.Picquot who succeeded after 18 years of vain research in gathering the whole series of 12 quintets op.60 & 62 except for no.4 op.60. Picquot insists that contrary to most of Boccherini's other quintets with two violas, these are original works and his op.60 nos.2, 3, 5 & 6 were manuscripted by the composer himself (see L. Picquot, Notice sur la vie et les ouvrages de Luigi Boccherini suivie du catalogue raisonné de toutes ses oeuvres, tant publiées qu'inédites, Paris 1851, which can be found by using Google Book Search).
