Early Songs revised and reworked, with some of the modifications cancelled in favor of the early version (not all is necessarily better). The Cover page is a personal snap of a kind of miniature 'Burning Man' night event (locally called a 'Brandon') held in the small Pyrenean village of Oô where the composer's family has an eyrie. Two of the present songs were initially placed in the Wayside Songs collection, which will have to be reshuffled as a consequence, the composer having gone somewhat chronological.
