Navigation etc.

The aria as it stands in its original form is a fragment. It has been completed by Reinhard van Hoorickx (1918-1997), who composed performing versions for many of Schubert's unfinished songs. The sketch has no text, and Hoorickx assigned to the work the title "Heimweh", using the poem "Herz, mein Herz, warum so traurig?" by Johann Rudolf Wyss (1781-1830).

Deutsch number will be assigned after a new revision of the Deutsch Catalogue, around 2027.
