The dedicatee of no.1 might be either the pianist or the violinist of that name, but as the dedicatees of nos. 2 and 3 are both pianists, it seems at least reasonable the dedicatee of no.1 might be the pianist (1857-1918) rather than the violinist (1875-1962).
