London based music seller and publisher, founded c.1808 by Charles Mitchell. He was previously (c.1802-1808) in partnership with Lavenu as Lavenu & Mitchell. Published in association with William Mitchell, who was based at the New Bond Street premises.
Succeeded c.1825 by piano maker Thomas Garlick at the Southampton Row premises.
