- Only known as 'editor' of Kuhlau's collected flute works (solos, duets, trios, ...) for Wessel & Co (London) in the 1830s (and later?), reissued after 1860 by Wessel's successor Ashton.
- Several sources (e.g. DNB, Rockstro, and Cobbett) consider this Antoine Farrenc to be the same as the composer/publisher/musicologist Aristide Farrenc (1794-1865), who was also a professional flautist, and had published most of Kuhlau's flute work before, in his own firm (Paris: A. Farrenc).
