Born Terre Haute, Indiana according to "International encyclopedia of women composers - Volume 2 - Page 706" (confirmed by Ancestry.com except for the mistaken surname) which gets her surname as Turnell; she married Herbert Turrell in 1922 (his second wife).
A harp concerto in B-flat minor by her was performed in harp and organ arrangement around October 14 1922 at Stanford University in California by Anne Louise David (Musical Courier, October 26, 1922.) (Another page in the same journal noted that she'd premiered the work in full orchestra-accompanied guise at Carnegie Hall. This was apparently in the 1919 Carnegie Hall season.)
