According to Joubert’s biographical notes for Les Maîtres contemporains de l'orgue vol. 5 (1914), he was born in Chatham and studied at Oxford University. He became a priest in 1909 and worked the St-John-the-Baptist church in London. His transcriptions of Handel's organ concertos for organ solo are still on the market.
