Miscellaneous information
Lived as a priest in Norfolk, England, at least in his last years. Assuming this was the same person, besides arranging an aria from Lohengrin for piano, he translated "Socialism: its nature, its dangers, and its remedies considered" and several other books on economics and politics. The one musician Moritz Kaufmann one finds listed is a violinist 1877-1944(?) (uncle of Walter Kaufmann) who almost certainly died at Treblinka and is not this person.
