"While the majority of Ella Kerndl's musical works were long considered lost, they were rediscovered in 2007 in Vienna through a chance discovery during an attic clearance operation – which uncovered previously unknown compositions from her handwritten estate (along with private documents, letters, and a catalogue of works up to Op. 40 compiled by the composer herself).
