There was also a Ernst Julius Lorenz (1840–96) who might have been referred to and published as Julius Lorenz occasionally. His works go from Op.1 in 1885 to Op.33 in 1914: piano pieces, solo and male voice choir songs, and one piano trio Op.12 in 1893. Info from HMB and SBB cat.
