French harpist, pianist and composer, "langjähriges Orchestermitglied der grossen Oper in Paris, st. das. in Juli, 75 Jahr Alt." from copy of necrology in Monatshefte für Musikgeschichte (list of 1904 deaths) (p.98). Full name Théodore Alexandre Eugène Nollet from a biography of Berlioz.
Born 1828 in Moulins (Allier), died 1904 in Berck-sur-Mer, buried at Paris Montmartre. [1][2][3]
Studies at Paris Conservatoire: harp 2nd prize in 1845, 1st prize in 1846. [4]
In general his compositions were signed "E. Nollet"; at present (2025) the BNF assigns most of these works to an (unidentified) Ernest Nollet. [5]
