Lived with Pablo Casals from 1907 to 1913 in Paris. Tovey wrote his Sonata for two cellos (1912) for them.
Tovey (see this letter from his teacher Sophie Weisse) and publisher Edward Hudson (1854-1936) were among her admirers.
