Relocated to England in 1841. Organist of the German Chapel Royal (Queen's Chapel), St. James's Palace from 1849 until 1901. Author of the following books on music: A Popular History of Music from the Earliest Times, The Pianist's Practical Guide, Comprehensive Counterpoint, and Numeral Notation.
Possibly the same person as F. Weber who published easy trios and duos in Germany from the 1870s to the 1890s. Wikipedia credits the works to him with no evidence. All were published under the name "F. Weber."
