Extra Information The Polish Music Center at USC documents the two earliest editions, published as Op.17: H.B. Stevens (pub. 1895-1896), and Stanley Lucas, Weber, Pitt & Hatzfeld (pub. 1898, with 1895 copyright claim from H.B. Stevens Co). An early performance (not necessarily the premiere) was on 7 May 1900 at the Salle Erard in Paris, with Pablo Casals on cello and the composer at the piano.
