I suspect if you like Pachelbel's Canon, you will like this. Just decided to write a big orchestral piece in that vein one day when that darned Canon was on the radio. Uncle! Enough already, I thought. Time to write a new one with a bit of a modern twist (but not too dissonant). This was the result. Just a descending major scale with a final jump to dominant with an ultra-simple super-repetitive accompaniment and then just variations of different sorts from there.
