| Extra Information

Finishing the 29 smaa Præludier for Orgel eller Harmonium, Nielsen began working on what was to be his last major composition: the organ work Commotio. It is not quite clear precisely when Nielsen began on the composition; some of the drafts are possibly from June 1930. The work was completed in February 1931.
