  • Free Library of Philadelphia catalog information on orchestration of full score - possible typo in their information, however, interpreted what I believed what meant (they had 1 fl, 1 ob, 2 hn, 2 tpt, 2 hn, 3 tpt, 3 trb, tmp, str. the repetition of horn and trumpet seemed odd and suggested either that one set of horns and trumpets were backstage - not specified?- or that clarinets and bassoons, which would ordinarily have been in that place in the ordering, actually belonged there.)- Schissel

Monatsbericht (1878), p.140 actually. Schmidt edition is from 1896 but is not the first edition.
