The double bass sonata is a modern-classical piece, consisting out of three movements: a humorous fast first one and a tense somewhat angry fast final, and in the middle a slow somewhat misterious one. In 2014 the piece is revised so that is done justice also to the upper range of the solo instrument. The MP3 is based upon a digital recording in Sibelius 6 with Garritan Personal Orchestra.
