Deutsch notes that the unfinished transcript was written by an unknown hand, without an author's name, but possibly dated by Schubert "The 8th May 816". The work was crossed out, and is included as the last page of the autograph of the "Fragment aus dem Aeschylus", D.450. The work might have been dated and reviewed by Schubert, but is more likely a composition by one of his five students.
