Edward Arnold of London published educational books and some music from 1890.
Edward Arnold lived from 1857 to 1942. Arnold's family had strong connections with education. His grandfather was Thomas Arnold (1795-1842) headmaster of Rugby School, and his uncle the poet and school inspector Matthew Arnold (1822-88), author of Culture and Anarchy (1869).
