Extra Information The misattribtion of this work to Wendling began with Denkmäler der Tonkunst in Bayern, XV/2.8 (1914). In this volume the quartet is listed as Wendling's Op.10 No.6. In 1957 the quartet was published in Nagel's Musik-Archiv (No.191) as Wendling's Op.10 No.4.
